Karine Poulin is the founder, president and sole shareholder of Poulin avocats inc. She began her career at a firm in downtown Montreal prior to founding her own firm in 2007 to meet a need for work-life balance. She also practiced corporate law for a public corporation. Karine Poulin’s practice is now mainly focused on mediation and arbitration as well as in business and corporate law.

Karine Poulin is involved in the business community by providing tailored training, mainly in corporate and real estate matters. She has also participated several times in the Salon VISEZ DROIT which takes place each April and has also participated in Family Mediation Day several times.

Karine Poulin is also a Director of the Revue canadienne de psycho-éducation.

Karine Poulin also sat on the Residential Committee of the CHSLD Vigi Pierrefonds and has simulated a trial, on a volunteer basis, for two 6th grade classes.

For some years now, she has been involved with young lawyers, sharing her experience in law firm management and best practices. She acts as a mentor for the firm’s articling students and regularly hosts trainees and observers at public arbitration sessions to increase awareness of this alternative dispute resolution process.
